In Home Therapy (ask me more)
Counseling is incredibly raw and vulnerable. It takes courage to go to counseling. It takes strength to sit with an unknown stranger, at first, and to dispel some of the most intimate moments of your life. It isn't in vain, though. Counseling is meant to be a process of journeying together alongside of one who is skilled to ask questions, to challenge, and to know where that road is taking you. I would count it as an honor to journey with you and to help you carve out a deeper understanding of who you are, to better understand your struggles, and where to find hope. Counseling, in essence, is plunging into the deep waters of your self and discovering who you are and the strength that is within...
The first session is always dedicated to getting to know you more fully, face to face. This is accomplished by understanding your particular situation in the context of who you are, your family, your relationships, jobs, religious beliefs, values, etc. All of this allows me to gain a big-picture perspective of who you are in relation to "your world."
You are always welcome to schedule an appointment through email or by leaving a voice message at 321-348-7681. If you are a new client, you have the option of either filling out your paperwork prior to your first session or arriving a few moments earlier to fill out the necessary paperwork for the intake process.
